Academic Activities of Blood Transfusion Deptt., PGIMS, Rohtak

 

1. State level training of laboratory technician and technical supervisor- Refresher Training for Blood Storage Centre on 24.9.12 to 26.9.12. Total 46 LTs were trained for Blood Storage Centres.

2. Refreshing Training on Blood Bank Procedures on 27.9.12 to 29.9.12.Lecture on Blood Components preparation & their user, Aphaeresis and Gamma Irradiation was taken.Modules of training were distributed among trainees. Total 36 LTs were trained on Blood Bank Procedure.

3. Training of Technical Supervisor for Blood Component Separation Units at PGIMS, Rohtak on 17.12.12 to 31.12.12.

4. Refresher Training on Blood Bank Procedure to Lab. Technician of  various Distt. Hospitals staff w.e.f. 14.3.2011 to 16.3.2011 has been given.

5. Refresher Training for Blood Storage Centre to Lab. Technician at various Distt. Hospitals staff w.e.f. 17.3.2011 to 19.3.2011 has been given. Total 46 LTs were trained which came from Blood storage centre of various districts in Haryana.

6. Refresher Training for Blood Storage Centre of Lab. Technician of various Distt. Hospitals staff w.e.f. 14.11.2011 to 16.11.2011 has been given.

7. Refresher Training on Blood Bank Procedure to Lab. Technician  of  various Distt. Hospitals staff w.e.f. 17.11.2011 to 19.11.2011.

8. Training of Blood Bank LTs was done from 13 to 15.9.12 at Model Blood Bank PGIMS for period of 3 days. Lectures on  Blood Collection Storage  and Processing,Blood Grouping & Cross Matching Testing ,Donor Room Procedures ,Transfusion Transmissible Infections Testing,Cross Matching Procedures,Blood Component prepration and their uses were taken.

9. Students of Lab. Technician in batches of 3 months duration from different institute are getting practical training about the working of Blood Bank.
