5. RSBY provides hospitalization coverage for upto Rs.30,000/- for a
family of five on a floater basis.
6. Transportation charges are also covered upto a maximum of
Rs.1,000/- with a limit of Rs.100/- per hospitalization.
7. Pre and post hospitalization upto 1 day prior to hospitalization
and upto 5 days from the date of discharge from the hospital.
8. All pre-existing diseases are covered from day one.
9. No age limit on the enrollment of beneficiaries.
