Useful Information for Patient  

 

OPD Cards/Prescription Card are made at the counter near Reception counter of the hospital for Rs. 5/-

Patients with monthly income up to Rs. 1000/- are give free treatment without any charges of investigations except for Ultrasound and C.T. Scan.

Patients with Yellow Cards (below poverty line) are not charged for any investigations including Ultrasound and C.T. Scan on the recommendations of Medical Superintendent.

Patient having monthly income above Rs. 1500/- are charged full charges of the hospital services as per rules.

Special ward rooms are allotted by Deputy Medical Superintendent on all working days between 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM in A-Block of the Hospital and thereafter by Casualty Medical Officer (CMO) in Emergency Deptt.  Special Ward Charges are collected by the official at the Enquiry Counter.

Births and Deaths of the patients born and expired in this Hospital are registered  in the Birth/Death office of the Institution itself.  Certificate to this effect can be obtained between 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM on working days from A-Block of this Hospital.

Patients coming from distant/remote areas can stay in Vishram Sadan on nominal charges of Rs. 5/- per day on the recommendation of treating Doctor.  Facilities for single bedroom are also available @ Rs. 30/- per day.

Haryana Govt. pensioners should come to this hospital with their referral letter from the Civil Surgeon concerned.  Ex-post-facto referral can be submitted later in case patient comes in emergency.

Patients whose treatment is not possible due to non-availability of facilities are referred to Delhi. Haryana Govt. servants are referred to outside hospitals including private hospitals and the expenditures equivalent to full charges as per All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi rates and 75% of the expenditure exceeding the said rates are reimbursed.

 

Facilities Provided to the Patients

 

Ambulance is provided to needy patients through Casualty Medical Officer on payment of usual Govt. Charges.

One patient trolley with one bearer is always available at the main gate of Emergency Deptt. for bringing the patient in the Casualty.

Patients are provided with facility to stay in Vishram Sadan if they are not admitted to the wards due to non-availability of beds on the day of their visit.

General information regarding hospital services or for the need of help the Enquiry/Reception counter should be approached.

Medico Legal Cases are admitted through Emergency after preparation of the Medical Legal Reports.

   Medicines are issued free of cost from the Dispensary adjoining Reception/Enquiry Counter after producing duplicate slips from the Consultant Doctor of the department concerned.
